I pho­tographed the Augs­burg In­vi­ta­tion­al men’s golf tour­na­ment at Ma­jes­tic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, Minn. on Sun­day, Sep­tem­ber 7, 2014. The morn­ing shot­gun start means a lot of work for a pho­tog­ra­ph­er to find each golfer (note to self: get there ear­ly as pos­si­ble next time).

Bethel Uni­ver­si­ty (Minn.) golfer Alex Case hit a won­der­ful tee shot on the par 3 eighth hole, land­ing just be­fore the cup and rolling/bouncing right past the hole and rest­ing just two inch­es from the pin.
