The fol­low­ing im­age is from a high school boy’s soc­cer game be­tween the Wash­burn Millers and the Hen­ry Pa­tiots in Min­neapo­lis, Minn. Wash­burn earned a 3–0 win in the game on Sept. 22, 2009.

I chose this im­age be­cause of the light. The back­ground and face re­al­ly pop out from the im­age, while the rest of the im­age is mut­ed and that draws the at­ten­tion back to the face.
