A man and woman walk through an otherwise deserted section of the Minneapolis Skyway on January 2, 2012. With New Year's Day falling on a Sunday, many downtown business were closed the day after, including a convenience store, coffee shop, hair salon, dry cleaner, staffing agency and a restaurant on the second floor of the Campbell Mithun Tower.

Here is the sec­ond in­stall­ment of my 366 day pho­to se­ries. I was walk­ing down­town and I was struck im­me­di­ate­ly by how emp­ty this build­ing was.
